MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In Medellin in 2017, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo is a product of a household of music the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is compulsory. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, as well as piano and ukulele. The first choice for his career was to be a vet however, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn to sing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he realized his talent for singing and changed the course his life.
